Tea and protein

I got my hands on a mango and I was all ready to use it for a shake. I wanted something fruity and super rich. And then I realized I didn't have regular vanilla protein powder. I had a vanilla chai flavor so I figured I'd play around with the ingredients for this shake. There have been a lot of protein shakes that used mango and some spices so I decided to try it out. Because the protein powder was already so strongly flavored with chai I wanted to go easy on the other spices I included: cardamom and nutmeg. The shake was exactly what I wanted. Next time, though, I'd just stick to a regular vanilla protein powder so the mix of the spices don't get too overwhelming. I only used half of a mango in this shake but I wouldn't mind using the entire fruit for my next version.
