Not that this is nearly comparable to the glory of the Olympics but my contribution to the FitFluential blog was published today. I wrote about how I introduced running into my fitness regimen. I should tell you that I am by no means super awesome at running now (and I do not anticipate that this will change in the near future), but it's a new love that I hope will continue to grow. How come none of you told me how much fun it is to run outside? I'm not looking forward to weather that will permit this from happening!
I think it's important for everyone to step outside of their comfort zones every now and then and re-evaluate their goals. This isn't just in fitness, either. What are some things that you've been putting aside that you've been meaning to try? What are your doubts? Whatever hindrances you feel you might face almost 90% of them are psychological. Try it. If it's absolutely horrible you never have to do it again, but then again, most things are worth a second shot.

Great reminder! I think it is so important to reevaluate your goals regularly o make sure you're still heading in the right direction, and that it's still one you are passionate about.
